Whenever it happens, 24/7, call or text (815) 585-1750 and we dispatch to Itasca as soon as we can. We take out what the backup ruined, treat what can stay, and rebuild the floor or ceiling it came through.
Sewage cleanup starts with removal, not drying. We extract the water, then take out the porous materials it reached, such as carpet, pad, drywall and insulation, because they cannot be cleaned well enough to keep. Hard surfaces get cleaned and treated with antimicrobial, and HEPA air scrubbers run while the work is going on. Then we dry the space, confirm it with readings, and put it back.
We reach Itasca on I-290 and Route 53, and we cover the whole town from Irving Park Road to Thorndale Avenue in DuPage County. Not every backup is in the basement: a toilet that overflows on the main floor can soak the subfloor and run down into the ceiling below. In that case we open the ceiling where it got wet, check the floor framing and subfloor, and replace the flooring the water got under. Both levels are dried and rebuilt on one estimate.

Water is extracted from the bathroom floor and anywhere it spread before removal starts.
Wet ceiling drywall under the bathroom is cut out so the joists and subfloor can be cleaned and dried.
Flooring the water got under is removed so the subfloor beneath it can be treated.
Air scrubbers run while materials are removed and the rooms dry.
Joists, subfloor, slab and studs are cleaned and treated before the drying equipment goes in.
Ceiling, flooring, the toilet reset, trim and paint, so both rooms are back in use.
Our daily equipment rates are written down before setup, and the scope lists every material coming out. The rebuild estimate is written line by line in the format carriers use, and we will walk it with your adjuster at the house if they ask. Anything new we find once the ceiling or a wall is open gets priced in writing for your approval before we do it. After the rebuild, we walk every room we worked in with you.
Call or text (815) 585-1750 day or night, and we will walk you through the first steps on the phone.
