Call or text our 24/7 line at (815) 585-1750, and we send a crew to Roselle as soon as we can. Drywall, carpet and insulation the backup soaked come out, so the walls you get back are clean and dry inside.
We handle a sewage backup as the most contaminated kind of water a house can get, and that sets the rules for what stays. Anything porous it touched, like carpet, pad, drywall and insulation, is cut out and hauled away. The surfaces that can be saved, including concrete, framing and tile, are cleaned and treated with antimicrobial. Once that is done we dry the space with air movers and dehumidifiers and rebuild it.
Roselle is on our regular route, on both the DuPage and Cook County sides, along Lake Street, Roselle Road and Irving Park Road. Drywall pulls water up like a wick, so a backup that stood two inches deep on the floor can leave the board wet well above that. We read the walls with a moisture meter before we cut, and the cut goes above the highest wet reading instead of at a guessed height. That way no wet board is left behind the new drywall.

Each wall the water reached is read before cutting, so the cut height comes from a reading, not a guess.
The board is removed above the highest wet reading, along with the insulation behind it.
Carpet and pad that the sewage soaked are cut, bagged and carried out.
Everything removed leaves the house with us, so none of it sits in your garage or at the curb.
Slab, studs and tile are cleaned and treated with antimicrobial before drying.
New insulation, drywall, tape, trim and paint go in once the space reads dry.
We look at the damage, take photos and readings, and give you the daily equipment rates in writing before setup. You get a written list of what comes out, and the rebuild estimate is itemized in the pricing format carriers use. If we open a wall and find more, that work is priced in writing and done only after you approve it. The equipment comes out once the readings show dry, the rebuild is scheduled, and we finish with a walkthrough.
