Call or text (815) 585-1750, day or night. If a frozen pipe bursts in your Itasca home, we get the water out, dry the walls and framing, and rebuild the rooms it soaked.
We handle water damage start to finish: extraction, drying, monitoring and the rebuild. Air movers and dehumidifiers are sized to the rooms that got wet, and HEPA air scrubbers run where wet material is being cut out. You see the daily rate for each machine in writing before it is turned on. When the readings show dry, we close the walls back up and finish the rooms.
Itasca is on our regular route: I-290 and Route 53 get us there, and Irving Park Road and Thorndale Avenue take us into this DuPage County village. A pipe that runs through an exterior wall can freeze on a cold night and split, and the water often runs inside the wall before it shows. If that happens in your Itasca home, we cut the drywall at the bottom of the wall so the cavity can dry, pull the wet insulation, and take readings up the studs. Once the pipe is repaired and the wall reads dry, we put back insulation and drywall.

We trace where the water ran inside the wall and floor so the drying covers all of it.
The wet lower section of drywall is cut out in a straight line, which lets the cavity dry and makes the patch cleaner later.
Wet insulation in an exterior wall comes out and is replaced once the framing is dry.
Air scrubbers run while wet drywall and insulation are being removed.
Someone checks every machine each day and records the readings.
Insulation, drywall, tape, texture, trim and paint go back in to match the rest of the room.
Our first visit stops the damage and starts the drying, with equipment rates in writing before anything runs. While the walls dry, we photograph the damage and write an itemized rebuild estimate in the line-by-line format carriers use, and we will meet your adjuster at the house if they want. Any change to the scope is written up and priced, and nothing happens until you approve it. We schedule the rebuild for when the readings show dry and walk it with you at the end.
Close the main valve, then call or text (815) 585-1750. We answer at any hour and dispatch as fast as we can.
