Call or text (815) 585-1750 at any hour when your Darien basement takes on water. We dry it properly and rebuild the finished space so it looks the way it did.
Cleaning up a flooded basement means more than drying the floor. We extract the water, remove the carpet pad and any carpet that cannot be saved, take off baseboard and cut the wet drywall, then dry the framing and slab with dehumidifiers and air movers. Moisture readings are taken daily, and the equipment comes out when they show dry. A failed sump pump gets replaced, and a battery backup can be added so a power outage does not stop the pit.
Darien is on our regular route off I-55 and Route 83, with 75th Street and Cass Avenue taking us through town. If your Darien basement is finished, the drywall, carpet and trim carry most of the cost, so how we cut matters. We make the flood cut at a straight, even height above the water line, which keeps the patch clean when the new drywall goes up. Trim that comes off dry can sometimes go back, and we tell you which pieces are worth saving before anything is thrown out.

Standing water and the water held in the carpet come out first.
Pad comes out once it is soaked, and we tell you whether the carpet itself can be dried or needs to go.
Wet drywall is cut at an even height above the water line so the rebuild patches in cleanly.
We remove baseboard with care and set aside any pieces dry enough to reuse.
We replace a failed pump and can add a battery backup pump beside it.
New insulation, drywall, trim, flooring and paint go in to match the room you had.
As soon as you call, we work out what happened and dispatch as fast as we can. Daily equipment rates are in writing before anything is set, and you get copies of the photos and readings as we go. The rebuild is priced in a free written estimate, with any hidden damage found behind the drywall priced in writing and approved by you first. We finish with a walkthrough of the room.
A photo of the wet carpet and walls tells us a lot, so text one to (815) 585-1750 any time, or just call.
