If you have seen a garage coating peel in sheets where the tires park, the prep was usually the problem. We diamond grind every slab, never acid etch, and repair the cracks and pits so the base bonds to clean, open concrete. That base is a moisture vapor barrier epoxy, and flake is broadcast into it until it refuses more, then scraped. A polyaspartic top coat goes over the flake and resists hot tires, road salt and UV.
