Call or text (815) 585-1750 around the clock, and we will get your Westmont basement dry and put a working sump pump back in the pit.
Flooded basement cleanup is the work of getting water out, getting wet materials out and drying what stays. We extract the standing water, remove soaked carpet, pad, baseboard and drywall, and set dehumidifiers and air movers with daily moisture readings. When the readings show dry, the equipment comes out and the rebuild begins. One company handles both halves of the job.
We cover Westmont every week, working from Ogden Avenue, Route 83, Cass Avenue and 55th Street, and around the Metra station. When a sump pump is the reason a Westmont basement flooded, we look at why it quit before we put a new one in. A float that hangs up on the side of the pit, a check valve that lets water drain back and a clogged discharge line can each make a good pump fail. We fix the cause along with the pump, then fill the pit with water and watch it cycle.

Standing water comes off the floor and out of the carpet first.
We take out soaked pad, carpet that cannot dry clean, baseboard and the wet bottom of the drywall.
Air movers and dehumidifiers stay in place until daily readings show dry.
We replace the pump, check the check valve and discharge line, and test the new pump with water in the pit.
A backup pump on its own battery keeps the pit pumping when the power is out.
We put insulation, drywall, trim, flooring and paint back to match what was there.
We answer day and night and send help as fast as we can. Before the drying equipment goes in, you get the daily rates in writing. Once the basement is dry, we give you a free on-site estimate for the rebuild with a written scope. If we find more once the walls are open, we price it in writing and wait for your approval, and we walk the basement with you at the end.
We pick up at (815) 585-1750 day and night, and we do not leave until a working pump is in the pit.
