We come in after the fire department says the house is clear. Our job is to remove what burned, clean the soot from everything that can be kept, and run HEPA air scrubbers so loose soot does not drift back onto clean surfaces. We also extract and dry the water left from firefighting, reading the moisture every day. Smoke odor is controlled by removing the materials that hold it and sealing the rest, and then ONIT Solutions rebuilds.

We look at the joists above the fire, clean or replace the drywall ceiling, and follow the soot up the stairwell. A finished basement can be the biggest part of the rebuild, because the walls, ceiling and floor may all have to come out.
We look at the framing above the fire and remove ceiling drywall and insulation that burned or soaked through.

We walk every level with you, and the daily equipment rates are written out before setup. Photos and measurements go into an estimate written in the pricing format insurance carriers use, and you get the same copies we send the carrier. If your adjuster wants to meet at the house, we will be there, and a supplement goes out when the scope misses something.
