Give the bathroom vanity, laundry cabinets and kitchen in your Addison home one matching painted finish, without replacing a single box. Every piece we will paint is listed in writing first.
Refinishing is the job of painting cabinets that are already installed, whether they hang in a kitchen, sit under a bathroom sink or line a laundry room. We pull the doors and drawer fronts, mark where each belongs, and bag the hardware by location. The surfaces get degreased, scuff-sanded and filled, then a bonding primer and a cabinet-grade enamel go on, sprayed for an even finish. Boxes and frames are painted in place behind plastic so the rest of the house stays clean.
Addison is on our regular route, and we get there on I-290 and I-355, with Lake Street, Route 53 and Army Trail Road taking us the rest of the way. Bathroom vanities take more abuse from moisture than kitchen cabinets, with steam from the shower and water splashed along the toe kick. We check the vanity base for swelling before we price it, because swollen particleboard will not hold paint. If the bath fan is weak or does not vent outside, we tell you, since the finish lasts longer in a room that dries out.

Doors, drawer fronts, frames and end panels painted in one color or two.
Vanity bases checked for water swelling, then cleaned, primed and enameled to stand up to splashing.
Upper cabinets over the washer and dryer get cleaned of lint and detergent residue before primer.
Hinges and pulls are bagged and labeled by room and opening so nothing gets mixed up.
A primer made for slick surfaces goes on everything before the enamel.
Plastic, floor covering and tape keep paint and dust inside the room we are working in.
We walk through each room with cabinets you want painted and write an estimate that lists them separately, so you can choose the kitchen, the bath, or both. A swollen vanity bottom or a cracked door found during the job gets shown to you and priced in writing before we fix it. We tell you how long each room will be partly out of use, and we book around the days we said. At the end, we open every door and drawer with you and fix anything that is not right.
