Text a photo to (815) 585-1750, day or night, and we will tell you what your flooded Warrenville basement needs. We get the water out, dry the walls and floor, and rebuild what had to come out.
A flooded basement is two jobs: the cleanup now and the rebuild once it is dry. For the cleanup we extract the water, move and protect whatever is stored down there, and take out the materials that cannot be saved, like soaked pad and the wet bottom of the drywall. Then the dehumidifiers and air movers go in, with wall-cavity drying where water got behind finished walls. The rebuild waits until the moisture readings say the structure is dry, not until it looks dry.
Warrenville is on our regular route, off I-88, Route 59, Butterfield Road and Winfield Road in DuPage County. The West Branch of the DuPage River runs through town, and where the water came from matters for your paperwork more than for the cleanup. If it came up through a floor drain or because the sump could not keep up, that is usually a backup question on a homeowners policy. If it came in over the ground from outside, carriers usually treat that as flood, which falls under a separate flood policy. We write down where the water entered so you can give your agent a clear answer.

Boxes, furniture and anything stored on the floor get moved out of the wet area and up off the concrete before extraction starts.
We pull the standing water, and as much as we can out of the carpet and pad, before deciding what stays.
Pad, soaked carpet, baseboard and the wet lower drywall come out and leave the house with the debris haul-off.
Where water wicked up behind finished walls, we push dry air into the cavities so the studs and plates dry too.
If the pump burned out or could not keep up, we put in a new one and can add a battery backup pump for outages.
Drywall, insulation, trim and flooring are put back to match what was there before the water.
You get a written scope for the mitigation, with daily equipment rates in writing before the first machine is plugged in. We check the equipment every day, log the moisture readings and give you copies along with the photos. Anything that turns up behind the walls is priced in writing and approved by you before it is done. When the readings show dry, the equipment leaves, the rebuild estimate is written, and we finish with a walkthrough against it.
