Cracks in your Lockport walls repaired so they stay closed instead of showing up again next winter. Holes, pops and ceilings get the same care.
A crack that comes back was almost always filled, not repaired. We cut a shallow groove along it, clear out the loose material, bed paper tape across it and finish with three coats feathered wide. Holes are cut back to solid board, closed with new drywall or a backed patch and finished the same way. Each repair is sanded, primed and painted, or the whole wall gets painted when that blends better.
We cover Lockport off Route 7 and Route 171, from downtown along the I&M Canal out State Street and Farrell Road. The usual spot for a crack is the corner of a door or window opening, running up at an angle from the header. Houses move a little with the seasons, and that corner is where the stress collects. If a crack is wider at one end, has a step in it or keeps growing, we tell you so, because that is worth having looked at before anyone patches it.

Grooved, taped with paper tape and finished wide, so tape bridges the crack instead of filler.
Lifted or split tape cut out and replaced, then finished flat.
Cracked corners re-taped and finished so the line stays crisp.
Cut back to solid board, closed with new drywall and finished in three coats.
Refastened with a new screw and finished over.
Primed and painted to match, or the full wall painted.
We look at every crack with you and tell you which ones are cosmetic and which ones deserve a closer look. You get a free written estimate listing each repair, and if opening the wall turns up rot, a leak or a framing problem, we price it in writing and wait for your yes. We book around the days we said, with time between visits for compound to dry. On the final visit we check each repair with you in daylight.
