Day or night, call or text (815) 585-1750 and we start drying your Lemont house before the water spreads further. When it is dry, we rebuild the walls, floors and trim.
Water that sits in a house keeps moving: into carpet pad, up the drywall and under the cabinets. Our job is to stop that by extracting it, cutting out what cannot be dried and drying the rest with equipment sized to the space. ONIT Solutions does the mitigation work and the rebuild, so one company is accountable from the first reading to the last coat of paint. We leave the machines running only as long as the readings say they are needed.
Lemont is in Cook County, and we reach it on I-355 and Route 171, then work down Lemont Road and State Street. The town is built on hills and bluffs above the Des Plaines River and the I&M Canal. If your house sits on a slope with a walkout lower level, water from an inside leak runs toward the low side of the floor, often away from where it started. We map the moisture with a meter across the whole level so the drying plan covers every wet spot, not just the obvious puddle.

We take readings across the whole floor and the lower walls to find where the water actually went.
When drywall has soaked up water, we cut away the wet lower section in a straight line so the cavity can dry and the patch goes back clean.
Air movers push air across wet surfaces while dehumidifiers pull the moisture out, sized to the square footage and how wet it is.
When the space is cold, drying heaters raise the temperature so the dehumidifiers can do their work.
When wet materials are coming out, negative air machines keep dust and particles from spreading through the house.
Drywall, insulation, framing repairs, flooring and trim go back in once the readings show dry.
The first visit gives you photos, moisture readings and a written list of the equipment we would set, with the daily rate for each piece. Nothing runs until you agree to it. While drying is underway we write the rebuild estimate, itemized so you and your adjuster can check each line. If we open a wall and find something else, such as damaged framing, it is priced in writing and done only after you approve it, and the job ends with you walking every room with us.
Pick up the phone or send a text to (815) 585-1750 at any hour. Include a picture of the wet area and we will tell you what we are bringing.
