The line is open 24/7: call or text (815) 585-1750, and we get to your Palatine home as soon as we can. Once the drain is flowing again, we remove what the sewage soaked, clean and treat the rest, and rebuild the room.
A sewage backup gets cleaned up in a set order: extract, remove, clean, dry, rebuild. The porous materials it soaked, such as carpet, pad, drywall bottoms and insulation, come out and leave with the debris. Concrete, tile and framing stay, and they are cleaned and treated with antimicrobial. Drying runs with readings every day, and the rebuild starts once those readings show dry.
We cover Palatine from downtown and the Metra station out to Rand Road and Dundee Road, and we reach it on Route 53 and Northwest Highway. If the backup came from a blocked main line, a plumber has to clear the line before cleanup starts, or the next shower or load of laundry sends more water into the basement. Once it flows, we start where the water came up, usually the floor drain or a basement toilet, and work outward. We photograph the drain and the spread before anything moves, so your claim shows where it started.

The drain or fixture where the backup came up is photographed with the spread around it.
Sewage water is pulled off the floor once the line is clear and flowing.
Carpet, pad, the lower drywall and the insulation it soaked are removed and bagged.
All of the removed material leaves the property with us.
Hard surfaces are cleaned and treated with antimicrobial, then dried with air movers and dehumidifiers.
Drywall, insulation, flooring, trim and paint are rebuilt to match.
We start with photos, readings and a written list of what is coming out, plus the daily equipment rates before setup. The equipment is checked every day, and it is pulled as soon as the readings show dry. Our rebuild estimate is itemized in the pricing format carriers use, we will meet your adjuster if they want, and anything new we find is priced in writing for your approval first. After the rebuild, we walk the basement with you and send copies of the photos, readings and estimate.
