Call or text us 24/7 at (815) 585-1750 if sewage has backed into your Lisle basement. We get it out, get the room dry, and hand you back a finished space instead of a stained one.
A finished basement takes the worst of a sewage backup, because carpet, pad and drywall all soak it up. Those materials come out wherever the water reached, along with the insulation behind the wall, and we haul the debris away. The concrete and any tile get cleaned and treated with an antimicrobial, then the space is dried with dehumidifiers and air movers until the readings say dry. After that we rebuild the basement you had.
We work in Lisle every week, on both sides of I-88, up Route 53 past the Morton Arboretum, and along Ogden Avenue and Maple Avenue. If your lower level has a bedroom, an office or a rec room, each one gets its own moisture readings, so drying is never called done because one room is. When we rebuild, we set the new flooring to meet the transitions, adjust doors that were cut for the old carpet, and paint the new drywall to blend with the walls that stayed.

We remove the standing water and the sewage held in the carpet.
Carpet, pad, the lower drywall and the insulation it reached are cut out and hauled away.
The slab, tile and any hard surface that stays is cleaned, then treated.
Each room gets its own daily moisture readings until it reads dry.
Base trim goes back and doors are adjusted to the new floor height.
New drywall is finished and painted to blend with the walls that stayed.
First we put the daily equipment rates in writing, before any machine is set. The removal, drying and rebuild are scoped line by line in the format insurance carriers use, and you keep copies of the photos, readings and estimate. If we open a wall and find more than expected, we price it in writing and wait for your approval. The rebuild goes on the calendar for set days, and we walk the finished basement with you.
