Call or text (815) 585-1750 any time about mold in a Lisle closet, bedroom corner or basement. We remove it, find why that spot stays damp, and close the wall back up properly insulated.
Before removal starts, the work area is sealed with plastic and put under negative air, so air moves out of it through a filter instead of into your rooms. HEPA air scrubbers run inside the containment the whole time. We take out the drywall, insulation or flooring the mold has damaged, bag it, and clean and treat the framing with an antimicrobial. Then we fix the cause and rebuild the wall.
Lisle is on our regular route, off I-88 and Route 53 in DuPage County, with Ogden Avenue and Maple Avenue taking us around town and the Morton Arboretum close by. If the mold is in the back of a closet or behind a dresser on an outside wall, the cause may not be a leak at all. A wall with missing or slumped insulation stays cold in winter, warm indoor air condenses on it, and with no air moving past, the drywall stays damp. We remove the damaged section, fill the cavity with insulation, and rebuild the wall so its inside face stays warmer.

Plastic sheeting and a sealed doorway keep removal dust in the closet or room we are working in.
A negative air machine draws from the work area while HEPA scrubbers filter it from start to finish.
We cut back past the growth and bag the drywall and any wet or moldy insulation behind it.
Studs and sheathing that stay are cleaned and given an antimicrobial treatment.
We fill the wall cavity with insulation so the inside face of that wall stops collecting moisture in winter.
We hang new drywall, tape, prime and paint it, and put the closet shelving or trim back where it was.
You get a free estimate in writing once we have seen the area, with the removal, treatment, insulation and rebuild listed separately. We show the daily rate for each air machine in writing before setup, and if the wall turns out to need more, we write it up and wait for your approval. We recommend an independent tester confirm clearance after cleaning and before we insulate and close the wall. The last step is a walkthrough with you.
Pull the clothes or the dresser away from that corner and text a picture to (815) 585-1750. You can also call, 24/7.
