Reach us 24/7 by call or text at (815) 585-1750. We take mold out of Addison basements and rooms behind sealed containment, then rebuild the walls with materials suited to a basement.
Before any wall gets opened, we hang plastic sheeting to close off the work area and start a negative air machine so the air pulls inward. HEPA air scrubbers run alongside it from the first cut to the final wipe-down. We remove the drywall, insulation, carpet and pad the mold has reached, bag it inside containment and haul it away. Then the remaining framing and concrete get HEPA vacuumed, scrubbed and treated with an antimicrobial.
We cover Addison, coming in on I-290 or I-355 and working the streets off Lake Street, Route 53 and Army Trail Road in DuPage County. If your Addison basement is finished and the bottom of the drywall shows dark staining along an outside wall, the cavity behind it is usually worse than the face. We cut the drywall above the affected line, pull the wet insulation, and look at where the water is getting in, whether that is a window well or a sump that is not keeping up. The rebuild uses treated bottom plates where framing is replaced and new drywall held up off the slab.

Sheeting sealed from slab to ceiling, so the work stays in the section of the basement we are in.
A negative air machine draws air into the work area and exhausts it out a window.
Scrubbers run from demolition through the final cleaning.
Drywall, insulation, carpet and pad removed above the affected line and bagged in place.
Studs and slab HEPA vacuumed, scrubbed and coated with an antimicrobial.
The sump or window well problem fixed, and walls rebuilt with treated bottom plates. We recommend an independent tester confirm the space first.
We look at the basement, find the water, and write you a free estimate that splits containment, removal, cleaning and rebuild into their own lines. Daily equipment rates are part of that paper, so you know them before a machine is plugged in. Anything we find once the wall is open, like rot in a bottom plate, gets priced in writing and approved by you first. The rebuild is scheduled once the space is clean and an independent tester has checked it, and the last step is a walkthrough with you.
