Painted trim that stays on the wood and walls with every crack properly repaired. We paint Hinsdale interiors with the prep each house actually needs.
Hinsdale is on our regular route for interior painting, and we cover walls, ceilings, trim and doors, a room at a time or the whole house. Prep makes up most of the job. Holes get filled, cracks get repaired, everything gets sanded, trim joints get caulked, and every repair and stain gets spot primer before we mask and protect the floors. The finish coats come last, in the sheen and number of coats listed on your estimate.
Hinsdale is in DuPage County, reached on I-294, Ogden Avenue, York Road and County Line Road, with the downtown and its Metra station at the center. Where an older Hinsdale house still has plaster walls, a crack needs to be opened, taped and filled, not just caulked, or it shows up again. If your trim has oil-based paint under the top layer, latex rolled straight over it can peel off in strips. We test the trim, scuff-sand it and use a bonding primer wherever the test calls for one.

Cracks are opened, taped and filled in layers, then sanded and primed so they stay closed under the paint.
We check what is on the woodwork before we paint it, so the new coat is matched to what is underneath.
Glossy or oil-painted trim is scuff-sanded and primed with a bonding primer so the new paint grips.
Crown, built-ins and paneled doors are cut in by brush where a roller cannot reach.
Nail holes, dents and old anchor holes are filled, sanded and primed before the finish goes on.
Floors are covered wall to wall, furniture is moved and covered, and you keep the artwork and breakables safe.
We walk the house with you for free, look closely at the walls and test what is on the woodwork. The estimate comes in writing, room by room, with the repairs, products, sheen and coats spelled out. If we open a crack and find more damage than expected, we write up the cost and wait for your approval. We book around the days we said, and the final walkthrough is where you point out anything that needs a touch-up.
