Your Oak Brook cabinets can be painted to match room to room, or the island can take a second color. Our crew refinishes kitchen, bath and built-in cabinets without replacing them.
Cabinet refinishing is a paint job on the cabinets you already have, done with the prep and products cabinets need. We remove and label the doors and drawer fronts, bag the hardware, then clean, degrease and scuff-sand every surface. Dings get filled, a bonding primer goes down, and a cabinet-grade enamel is sprayed on for a level finish. The boxes and frames are painted in place while the rest of the kitchen stays masked.
Oak Brook is on our regular route, with I-88, I-294 and Route 83 bringing us in and 22nd Street or York Road to the house. If your home has cabinets in several rooms, such as a kitchen with a big island, a butler's pantry, a bar or a library wall, we can stage them so the whole house is not torn up at once. A two-tone kitchen, with the island in a second color, means separate masking and a separate color run, and we price it that way. Each room gets its own cure time, and we write that into the schedule.

Doors and drawer fronts are numbered by room and opening, so a big job goes back together in the right order.
Hinges and pulls are bagged and marked by room. New hardware can go on at rehang.
Kitchen faces, bar cabinets and bath vanities are cleaned of grease, soap film and hand oils.
A scuff-sand dulls the old finish, filler goes into dings, and bonding primer covers it all.
An island or bar in a contrasting color gets its own masking and its own spray run.
Library walls, pantry cabinets and mudroom built-ins can be refinished on the same estimate.
We walk each room with cabinets in it and write the estimate room by room, with the colors and sheen named. If you want the kitchen finished first and the bath vanities after, the schedule says so. When a door or box turns out to need repair once it is opened up, you see it and approve a written price before we fix it. Before we start we tell you how long each room will be out of use, and we close with a walkthrough of every room we painted.
