Call or text (815) 585-1750, 24/7, and we take your Shorewood basement from a sewage backup back to a dry, treated, finished room.
A sewage backup leaves more behind than a wet floor, so the cleanup goes deeper than a clean-water job. Our first step is extracting the water, and the next is removing every porous material it touched: carpet, pad, drywall bottoms and insulation. The concrete, framing and other hard surfaces are then cleaned and treated with antimicrobial, and HEPA air scrubbers run during the work. Drying follows, and the rebuild starts when the daily readings show dry.
Shorewood is on our regular route along I-55, Route 59, Route 52 and Black Road in Will County. If your finished basement has a wet bar or built-in cabinets, check the bottoms, because particleboard cabinet boxes soak up water and do not dry back out. Those boxes come out with the drywall, and we lift the countertop off first so it can go back on new boxes if it is sound. The rebuild then puts the bar back together along with the walls and floor.

We extract the water, then take out carpet, pad, drywall bottoms and insulation the backup reached.
Soaked cabinet boxes come out, and countertops are lifted off and saved when they are sound.
Concrete, studs and other hard surfaces are cleaned and treated before drying starts.
Air scrubbers, air movers and dehumidifiers are sized to the basement and checked every day.
Furniture and boxes are moved to a dry part of the house and covered while we work.
Walls, flooring, trim, cabinets and paint go back in so the basement is ready to use again.
We walk the basement with you and write a free estimate that names every item coming out and going back. The daily rate for each piece of drying equipment is in writing before setup, and we check every machine each day. If the cabinets or walls hide more damage, we price the extra work in writing and hold off until you approve it. We book the rebuild around the days we give you and walk the finished basement with you at the end.
