We answer calls and texts at (815) 585-1750 24/7 and dispatch to Arlington Heights as soon as we can. Every wall and floor the backup soaked is opened, cleaned and treated, then rebuilt so the basement is usable again.
Our first job in a sewage backup is to get the water and everything it ruined out of the house. Carpet, pad, drywall, paneling and insulation it touched come out, because porous materials cannot be cleaned well enough to stay. The hard surfaces left behind are scrubbed and treated with antimicrobial. Then we dry the space, track it with daily readings, and rebuild.
We work in Arlington Heights every week, from downtown and the Metra station out along Arlington Heights Road and Northwest Highway, and we reach it on Route 53. Where an Arlington Heights basement has wood paneling nailed to furring strips on the foundation wall, a backup soaks both, and the gap behind them stays wet long after the floor looks dry. We take the paneling and the wet furring off, clean and treat the concrete wall, and dry it before anything goes back. In the rebuild you can go back to paneling or switch to an insulated wall with drywall.

Wood paneling and the furring strips behind it come off wherever the water reached.
The bare concrete wall is scrubbed and treated with antimicrobial, then dried.
Carpet and pad are cut up, bagged and hauled away with the rest of the debris.
HEPA air scrubbers and negative air run while the materials come out.
Moisture readings on the wall, slab and framing are taken every day until each one reads dry.
New furring or framing, insulation, drywall or paneling, flooring and paint go in.
You get our daily equipment rates in writing before setup, along with a list of what has to come out. While the space dries, the rebuild estimate is written line by line in the format insurance carriers use, and we send a supplement if the carrier's scope misses something. Anything we find behind the paneling or drywall is priced in writing and waits for your approval. The rebuild goes on the calendar once the scope is set, and we walk it with you at the end.
