New drywall gets a sprayed primer and finish that soaks in evenly, so the seams and patches do not show through once the lights are on. We work in Minooka every week.
Paint spraying earns its place on new drywall, where bare paper and joint compound soak up paint at different rates. We spray the primer so it lands thick and even over both, then back-roll the walls to work it into the surface. The ceiling and walls get their finish coats the same way. Floors, windows, outlets, fixtures and anything else that stays unpainted get covered before the sprayer comes out.
Minooka sits where Grundy, Kendall and Will counties meet, and we reach it off I-80 and Route 6, with Ridge Road and McLindon Road taking us into the neighborhoods. If you just finished a basement or an addition, the rooms are empty and the drywall is bare, which is exactly when spraying pays off. A sprayed primer shows every flaw in the taping under work lights, so we look the walls over before the finish coats and fix what needs it. Painting over a bad seam only makes it stand out more.

Primer goes on in one even layer over paper and compound, so the finish does not flash at the seams.
A roller follows the sprayer on the walls to press the primer in and give a uniform texture.
Ceilings are sprayed first, so there is no roller line where the two meet.
After primer we look at the walls with a work light and touch up any taping that shows.
Floors, windows, outlets, switches, duct openings and fixtures get masked before we start.
Two finish coats in the color and sheen you picked, applied the same way across every wall.
We walk the space with you and leave a free written estimate that lists the rooms, the ceilings, the primer, the finish product and the number of coats. If the primer coat shows taping problems that need more than a touch-up, we put that in writing and wait for your approval before doing it. We book around the days we said, and dry time between coats is built into the schedule. At the end we pull the masking and walk the rooms with you.
Send a text to (815) 585-1750 when the drywall is up. We will see the space and write the scope before anything gets painted.
