Interior doors and trim come out smooth, with no brush marks in the enamel, because we take the doors down and spray them flat. Downers Grove is on our regular route.
Doors and trim are where a sprayed finish shows the biggest difference. A brush leaves lines in enamel, and on a paneled door those lines catch light in every recess. We take doors off their hinges, label them, bag the hardware, and spray them flat so the enamel levels out. Trim stays in place, gets masked off from the walls and floors, and is sprayed after the nail holes are filled and the joints caulked.
We reach Downers Grove off I-88 and I-355, along Ogden Avenue and Butterfield Road, and into the streets around Main Street and the Metra station downtown. If your house has a hallway of paneled doors or a lot of painted trim, spraying is the way to bring them all to the same finish. Where trim still has old oil-based paint, it gets scuffed and coated with a bonding primer first so the new enamel does not peel. If your trim is stained wood rather than painted, we talk through whether painting it is the right call before anything is sanded.

Each door comes down, gets a label for its opening, and its hinges and knobs go in a marked bag.
Doors are sprayed lying flat so the enamel settles smooth into the panels.
Nail holes get filled and open joints caulked before any primer goes on.
Old oil-based paint gets scuffed and primed with a bonding coat so the new enamel holds.
Trim is taped off from the wall and floor so the sprayed coat stops at a crisp line.
Doors go back on their openings after the enamel cures, with the hardware reinstalled.
We count the doors, measure the trim and leave a free written estimate that lists both, plus the primer, the enamel, the sheen and the coats. If you decide to add the stair rail or another room, that is priced in writing and approved before we start it. We book around the days we said and tell you which openings will be without a door and for how long. Once every door is back up, we walk the house with you and check each one.
Call or text (815) 585-1750 and tell us how many doors you have. We will see them in person and put the whole scope in writing.
