Call or text (815) 585-1750 any hour, and we seal off the mold in your La Grange Park home, take out what it grew into and fix the water that fed it. Then we put the room back.
Mold grows where something stays wet, so the job is half removal and half finding out why. We build containment around the area with plastic sheeting, set a negative air machine to pull air out of that space, and run HEPA air scrubbers while we work. Drywall, insulation, carpet or trim the mold grew into comes out and is bagged inside the containment. Framing and hard surfaces are cleaned and treated with antimicrobial, and then we fix the moisture source and rebuild.
La Grange Park is on our regular route, in from I-294 and La Grange Road or along 31st Street and Ogden Avenue in Cook County. If your house has a bathroom on the second floor, a fan that dumps into the attic instead of venting outside can leave the roof sheathing and the ceiling below damp every winter. We check where the fan actually goes before we call the job finished. When the answer is the attic, we run the duct outside so that spot stops getting wet.

Plastic sheeting and a sealed entry close the work area off from the rest of the house before anything is disturbed.
A negative air machine pulls air out of the contained space and exhausts it outside, so air flows into the work area and not out of it.
HEPA air scrubbers run through the removal and cleaning to catch what gets stirred up.
Drywall, insulation, carpet and trim the mold grew into are cut out, bagged inside containment and hauled off.
Studs, joists and hard surfaces are cleaned and treated with antimicrobial once the damaged material is out.
We correct the moisture source, such as a leaking supply line or an attic-vented bath fan, then replace insulation, drywall, trim and paint.
We look at the area, find the moisture and give you a written estimate before any work starts. The scope lists the containment, what comes out, the cleaning and the rebuild, and any daily equipment rates are in writing before setup. If opening the wall shows the mold goes past what we could see, that extra work is priced in writing and waits for your OK. We recommend an independent tester confirm clearance before the walls close, and we finish with a walkthrough of the rebuilt room.
