Pick up the phone or send a text to (815) 585-1750, day or night. In Hoffman Estates we remove mold behind containment, tell you straight what caused it, and rebuild the ceiling or wall once the cause is handled.
Every mold job we take on has the same core steps, scaled to the space. Plastic sheeting closes in the work area. A negative air machine keeps the air moving into that space and exhausts it outside, and HEPA air scrubbers clean what is inside. The affected drywall, insulation and trim are removed and bagged, and the framing and hard surfaces left are HEPA vacuumed, cleaned and treated with an antimicrobial before we deal with the moisture and rebuild.
Hoffman Estates is on our regular route up I-90 and Route 59, and we cover the town from Higgins Road and Golf Road out along Barrington Road, in Cook and Kane counties. If a stain on an upstairs ceiling or at the top of an outside wall in your Hoffman Estates house showed up after a hard winter, an ice dam may have pushed meltwater under the roof edge and into the wall. We do not do roofing, so if the roof edge is the source, we say so plainly and the roof gets fixed before we close anything up. What we handle is the inside: containment, removal, treatment, new insulation, drywall and paint.

Sheeting seals the room or the section of ceiling we are working on.
Air pulled into the work area and sent outside, so ceiling dust does not drift into the hall.
They run through removal and cleaning to filter the contained air.
Affected drywall and wet or moldy insulation cut out and bagged.
Top plates, studs and joists HEPA vacuumed, cleaned and treated with an antimicrobial.
Once the source is handled and an independent tester confirms the area, new insulation, drywall and paint go in.
First you get a free written estimate that lists containment, removal, cleaning and the rebuild, plus the daily rate for each machine. If the source is outside our trades, the estimate says that too, so you know what needs to happen before the rebuild. Extra work found once the ceiling is open is priced in writing and approved by you before we do it. We schedule the rebuild after the source is fixed, and we walk it with you when it is done.
