Whatever the hour, the call or text goes to (815) 585-1750 when a fire hits your Crest Hill home. From the soot and water to the finished rebuild, we handle the house.
Before any rebuild, the house has to be cleaned out, cleaned up and dried. Cleaned out means removing what the fire and heat destroyed and hauling it off. Cleaned up means taking soot off the surfaces that can be saved with HEPA air scrubbers running, and removing the materials holding smoke odor while the framing that stays is sealed. Dried means the water from firefighting is extracted until the moisture readings show dry, and then we rebuild.
Crest Hill is on our regular route, between Joliet and Romeoville along Route 30, Route 53, Weber Road and Caton Farm Road, with I-55 close by. If a fire in your Crest Hill home started inside a wall, at an outlet or a wiring run, the damage behind the drywall usually spreads wider than the scorch mark you can see. We open the wall past the visible damage until we reach clean framing and wire. Any wiring we replace is inspected under a City of Crest Hill permit before the wall gets closed back up.

Walls are opened past the scorch marks until we reach framing and wire the fire did not touch.
Burned drywall, insulation, flooring and trim are removed and taken off the property.
Ceilings, walls, doors and fixtures that can stay are cleaned of soot.
Scrubbers filter the air until the soot work is finished.
Smoke-soaked materials are removed, and the framing left in place is sealed.
Wiring, framing, insulation, drywall, trim and paint go back, with inspections where the city requires them.
We walk and photograph the house, then write an itemized estimate in the pricing format insurance carriers use. Daily rates for scrubbers and drying equipment are in writing before setup, and you get copies of every photo and reading. Damage found once a wall is open gets priced in writing, and nothing more is done until you approve it. We finish by walking the rebuilt rooms with you.
Call or text (815) 585-1750. Once the house is cleared, photos of the damage help us plan the first visit.
