Step into a walk-in shower where the tub used to be, built on a tested waterproof layer and finished by one crew in your La Grange Park house.
A bathroom remodel touches more trades than any other room in the house: plumbing, wiring, framing, waterproofing, tile and paint all meet in a few square feet. Our crew handles all of it under one estimate, so there is one person to call when you have a question. We tear out to the studs where the job needs it, set the new drain and valve, run the wiring, and build the shower on a continuous waterproofing membrane that gets tested before any tile goes on. Vanity, toilet, lighting, trim and paint close the job out.
We cover La Grange Park, coming in off I-294 and working along 31st Street, La Grange Road and Ogden Avenue. The village sits in Cook County right next to La Grange and Western Springs. If you are tired of climbing over a tub wall to shower, a conversion to a walk-in shower with a low threshold fixes that. When we do one, we add solid blocking inside the wall before it closes, so a grab bar can go in now or years from now and hold real weight. The drain moves to suit the new shower, and the shower floor is pre-sloped so water heads to it instead of sitting at the edge.

The tub comes out, the drain moves to suit the new shower, and the opening is reframed for a low curb and a glass door or panel.
Solid wood blocking goes in the walls before they close, so grab bars anchor to framing instead of hollow board.
A continuous membrane covers the walls and the sloped floor, and we water test it before tile, because grout and tile alone do not stop water.
A new vanity and top set level, with new supply lines, shutoffs and a drain assembly.
The exhaust fan is ducted to the outside of the house, never into the attic, and the outlets get the GFCI protection code calls for.
Walls outside the shower are patched or replaced, trimmed out and painted, so the room is finished when we leave.
We measure the room, look at what is under the sink and behind the access panel, and give you a written estimate that spells out each part of the job. Once you pick fixtures and tile, we wait for the materials before demo, so the room is not torn apart while a box sits on backorder. If opening a wall turns up rot or an old leak, you get that priced in writing and approve it before we fix it. We book around the days we said, and at the end we walk the room with you and run every fixture.
