Get an Aurora bathroom with light where you need it, outlets that are protected and a shower that keeps the water inside. The wiring, plumbing and tile are all done by one crew.
Bathroom electrical tends to get the least attention and cause the most trouble later, so we treat it as part of the remodel, not an afterthought. Receptacles get the GFCI protection code requires, vanity and shower lights go where you actually need light, and the exhaust fan gets its own switch or timer and a duct to the outside. The shower is built over a continuous waterproofing membrane, sloped to the drain and water tested before tile. Then the vanity, toilet, faucets, drywall, trim and paint finish out the room.
Aurora is on our regular route, and we reach it on I-88, Route 59, Orchard Road, Eola Road and Farnsworth Avenue, on both sides of the Fox River. The city spreads over Kane, DuPage, Will and Kendall counties, but building permits come from the City of Aurora wherever your house sits. Where an older Aurora house has a single light over the mirror and one receptacle with no GFCI protection, we plan new circuits and boxes while the walls are open. If the wiring in your house is already in good shape, the job leans toward layout and finishes, and we tell you which situation you have after we look.

Every bathroom receptacle is protected as code requires, with outlets placed where you use a hair dryer or razor.
Light goes over or beside the mirror, plus a wet-rated fixture in the shower if you want one.
The exhaust fan gets a separate switch or timer and a duct to a roof or wall cap.
A continuous membrane is sloped to the drain and filled with water to check for leaks before tile.
Floor and wall tile goes on a sound base, then the vanity, top, faucet and toilet are installed.
Drywall is replaced or patched where the wiring went in, trim is reset and the room is painted.
We start with a free estimate at your house, where we check the panel, the existing bathroom circuit and the plumbing. The written scope lists each fixture, each new circuit or receptacle and the tile areas, along with the permit the city needs. If we open a wall and find unsafe wiring, you get a written price to correct it and approve it before we proceed. We book around the days we said, and at the end we test every outlet, light and fan with you.
