Rebuild the Montgomery hall bath your whole family shares, with a tub that drains, tile that stays put and storage for everyone's things. We do the plumbing, wiring and finish work in one job.
The hall bath takes more use than almost any room in the house, so we build it to stand up to that. If you are keeping a tub, a new one goes in level and supported, and the tile surround above it goes over a continuous waterproofing membrane that laps over the tub flange so water cannot get behind it. Walk-in showers get a membrane, a pan sloped to the drain and a water test before tile. We add a vanity with as much storage as the room can fit, a toilet, a fan ducted outside and GFCI-protected outlets, then finish the drywall, trim and paint.
We cover Montgomery in Kane and Kendall counties, coming in on Route 30, Route 31 and Orchard Road along the Fox River. Where a Montgomery house has one full bath upstairs shared by the whole family, we set the schedule around the fact that the house is short a bathroom while we work, and we go over it with you before demo. If the old tub has a fiberglass or acrylic surround, the drywall behind it is often wet or soft at the bottom, so we include replacing it in the estimate instead of hoping it is sound. Keeping a tub makes sense where young kids still take baths, and we will tell you plainly if a shower suits your house better.

A new tub goes in level on a solid base, with a new drain and overflow.
Waterproofing laps over the tub flange and runs up the walls before tile, so water stays in the tub.
The vanity and top are sized for the room, with drawers or doors for everything a shared bath has to hold.
Tile or plank flooring goes over a checked subfloor, then a new toilet is set on a fresh seal.
A fan is ducted to the outside, and the outlets at the sink get GFCI protection.
Base and door trim are replaced, the door is rehung if it rubs, and the walls and ceiling are painted.
We visit, measure and talk through who uses the bath, then put a free written estimate in front of you with the tub or shower, the tile, the fixtures and the trades listed. The start date comes after the materials arrive, and we tell you which days the bathroom will be out of service. If the subfloor under the tub or toilet turns out to be rotted, we price the repair in writing and wait for your approval. When we finish, we fill the tub, run the shower and check the drains with you.
