We paint Montgomery ceilings so old stains stay sealed, walls so patches do not show and trim so it stays bright. The prep that makes that happen is written into the estimate.
Interior painting covers walls, ceilings, trim, doors and cabinets, and exterior painting covers siding, trim, doors, porches and railings. On either one, we patch, sand, caulk, prime and mask before the finish goes on, because that is what decides how the paint looks a year later. Floors are protected and furniture is moved and covered. Rotted trim on the outside is replaced, not filled and painted.
Montgomery is on our regular route, on Route 30, Route 31 and Orchard Road and along the Fox River, in both Kane County and Kendall County. Ceilings deserve a careful look inside a house: an old leak from a bathroom or the roof leaves a brown ring, and regular paint lets it bleed right back through. Once the leak is fixed, we seal the stain with a stain-blocking primer and roll the whole ceiling so there is no patchy square. Outside, the fascia and soffit under the gutters get checked for soft wood before we paint them.

Water stains sealed with a stain-blocking primer once the leak is fixed, then the full ceiling painted.
Holes and cracks filled and sanded, patches primed, and the walls finished in the coats the estimate lists.
Gaps caulked, surfaces sanded and finished in an enamel that wipes clean and holds its color.
Cleaned of grease, sanded and bond primed so the finish does not chip at the edges.
Checked for soft wood, rotted sections replaced, then primed and painted.
Washed, scraped, caulked and spot primed before the finish coats go on.
A free on-site estimate comes first, written out with the rooms or surfaces, the prep, the products and the coats. If we pull a fascia board and find the rot runs deeper than it looked, you get a written price for the extra and decide before we continue. Inside work can be scheduled any month, while outside work waits for dry days above 50 degrees between spring and fall. We walk through the finished job with you and take care of touch-ups before we go.
