Even color from the floor to the top of a two-story wall in your Plainfield home, with every window, floor and fixture covered before the sprayer starts.
We use an airless sprayer when it gives you a better finish or covers a lot of wall faster than a roller can. Most of the day goes into masking: windows, floors, fixtures, outlets and anything else that is not getting paint gets covered first. On walls, one person sprays and a second back-rolls right behind, which works the paint into the texture and evens out the sheen. If your job is better done with a brush and roller, we tell you that up front.
Plainfield is on our regular route, and we get around town on Route 59, Route 126 and 127th Street. If your Plainfield house has a two-story foyer or a great room with a tall ceiling, those walls are where spraying earns its keep. Rolling a wall that height means constant ladder moves and lap marks where wet paint meets dry, while a sprayer on an extension wand lays the coat down in one continuous pass. We set planks or a scaffold where the height calls for it and protect the stair treads and railings underneath.

Two-story walls get one even coat from top to bottom, back-rolled so the sheen matches the rest of the room.
Flat and vaulted ceilings are sprayed in full passes, which keeps roller lines out of the light from big windows.
Floors, windows, light fixtures, outlets and railings are covered with paper, plastic and tape before any paint goes on.
Stairwell walls are reached from planks or a scaffold, with treads and handrails protected below.
Interior doors and trim can be sprayed in enamel for a finish without brush marks when the job calls for it.
Paper and plastic come off once the paint is ready, and edges are touched up by hand where tape lifted.
We come out, look at the rooms and give you a free written estimate that lists each surface, the masking and the number of coats. After you approve that scope, we put the job on the calendar and book around the days we said. If we find a wall that needs patching first, you get a written price for that repair and approve it before we touch it. When the paint is done and the masking is off, we walk the rooms with you and fix anything you point out.
