Siding coated into every lap and groove, not just across the face. On Elmhurst exteriors we spray, then back-brush so the paint gets worked in.
Lap siding has a lower lip on every board, and that edge is where water sits and paint fails first. A sprayer reaches the underside of each lap that a brush or roller tends to skip. On wood, we back-brush right behind the spray to push paint into the grain and the joints. Soffits, fascia and garage doors are sprayed the same way, with trim cut in by hand where a sharp line matters.
We cover Elmhurst, off I-290 and I-294 with York Road, North Avenue and St. Charles Road taking us across town. If your house sits close to the one next door, a narrow side yard changes how we spray it: shields go up, the neighbor's siding and windows get covered, and some sections get brushed instead. Two-story walls get ladders or staging set on pads so the lawn and beds are not torn up. We spray on calm days only, because wind can carry paint mist over a fence and onto a car next door.

Siding washed, then left to dry before scraping and primer.
Loose paint scraped to a sound edge, edges sanded, and bare wood primed.
Soft siding boards and trim cut out and replaced, not painted over.
Spray aimed into the lower edge of each siding board, then back-brushed.
Shields and covers on the next house, fence and cars wherever the gap is tight.
Window and door trim finished with a brush for a crisp line against the siding.
After we walk the outside together, you get a written estimate listing each surface, the prep, the product, the coats and which parts are sprayed or brushed. Exterior work runs spring to fall on dry days above 50 degrees, and we tell you when wind moves a spray day. Rot or damage found during scraping is shown to you and priced in writing before we replace it. On the last day we walk around the house with you and touch up anything you find.
