Get one flat, continuous floor through your Plainfield kitchen, hall and living room, with the base, shoe and transitions finished before we leave.
Most of the floors we put down are luxury vinyl plank and tile, with laminate and engineered hardwood close behind. Every one of those products has a flatness spec printed in its install instructions, and most subfloors miss it until someone levels, patches or sands them. So we check the floor with a straightedge before the first plank and fix the high and low spots first. Base, shoe molding and transitions are part of the price, not an add-on at the end.
Plainfield is on our regular route, and we get around town on Route 59, Route 126, Caton Farm Road and 127th Street, with I-55 on the east side. If your Plainfield house runs one floor from the front door through the kitchen and into the living room, that long run changes the install. A floating floor needs expansion room at the walls and sometimes a break partway through a long stretch, and we plan where those go so the gaps hide under trim instead of in the middle of a doorway. Where an island or a peninsula sits in the path, we settle up front whether the floor runs under the cabinets or butts to them.

We move the furniture, slide out the range and fridge, and put everything back and reconnected when the floor is done.
Carpet, pad, tack strip and old vinyl come up and leave with us.
We check the subfloor against the product's flatness spec and grind, patch or level until it meets it.
We plan the plank direction and any expansion breaks so a run through several rooms stays tight and quiet.
We install luxury vinyl, laminate, engineered hardwood or tile, cut clean around door casings and cabinets.
New or reset base, shoe molding and the transition strips at every doorway and change of floor.
We come out free, measure every room, and check the subfloor before we price anything. The written estimate lists removal, prep, the floor itself and the trim as separate lines, so you can see what each part costs. If pulling the old floor shows soft or damaged subfloor, we show you, price the repair in writing and wait for your yes. We book the install days with you and keep to them, and on the last day we walk every room with you before we pack up.
