Exterior paint that matches what your association approved and holds up on every side. We paint Oakbrook Terrace homes and townhomes, with the scope written down before we start.
Exterior painting is mostly prep: washing the siding, scraping loose paint, sanding the edges, priming bare wood and recaulking open joints. We do all of that before a finish coat goes on, and we replace rotted trim rather than painting over it. The surfaces we paint include siding, trim, soffit and fascia, doors, garage doors, shutters and railings. Every one of them is listed in the written estimate with the product and number of coats.
We work in Oakbrook Terrace every week, reaching it by Route 83, Roosevelt Road, 22nd Street and I-88. If you live in a townhome with an association, the colors and sometimes the schedule need approval before anyone paints, and we give you the written scope and color details to submit. On a shared building, we mark where your unit ends so the paint line lands on a trim board, not halfway across a wall. On a single-family house in DuPage County, the decisions are yours, and we walk you through them side by side.

Wood, fiber cement or aluminum siding and its trim washed, prepped and painted in the colors you approve.
Eaves scraped and painted, with any soft fascia boards swapped for new ones primed on all sides.
Front doors, service doors and garage doors sanded, primed where bare and finished in a durable sheen.
Rusted or flaking railings wire-brushed and primed, shutters cleaned and painted to match the trim.
Every open joint around windows, doors and trim recaulked so water stays out from behind the paint.
Paint lines placed on trim breaks at a unit boundary, and neighbors' plantings and walks covered too.
After we look over the outside with you, you get a written estimate covering each surface, its prep, the product and the coats, which doubles as the scope your association can review. Once the colors are approved, we put the job on the calendar for dry days above 50 degrees, spring through fall. Anything we find that was not in the estimate, like a rotted sill behind a shutter, gets priced in writing and waits for your okay. We close out with a walkthrough and touch up anything you flag.
