We paint the trim and doors you see every day: baseboard, door and window casing, crown, stair rails and the doors themselves. The work starts with filling, caulking and sanding, because enamel shows every flaw it covers. Old oil-based paint gets a bonding primer, bare wood gets primed, and then the finish goes on by brush or sprayer, depending on which gives the better result on that piece. You pick the sheen, and we write it into the estimate.
We cover Oakbrook Terrace from Route 83 and Roosevelt Road, with 22nd Street and I-88 bringing us in from either side in DuPage County. If you live in a condo or townhome, the inside face of your entry door is often yours to change, but the outside face and frame may fall under the association's color rules. We ask you to check before we price an exterior face, and we are glad to work from the color the board gives you. Inside the unit, hall and closet doors get the same prep as the main rooms.

After we look at the trim and doors with you, you get a written estimate that names every door, every room and the enamel we plan to use. If you need association approval, we can wait on it and start once you have it. Anything we find mid-job that is not in the estimate gets shown and priced on paper, and you approve it before we do it. We finish with a walk through every room so you can point out anything that needs a touch-up.
