Seams you cannot find once the paint is on, whether the board is new or the tape job you inherited is showing lines. We finish new drywall in Minooka and redo the seams that were done wrong the first time.
Good taping starts with tape that is fully bedded, because a dry spot under the paper turns into a bubble or a lifting edge later. We set paper tape in a full bed of compound, cover outside corners with bead, and build each joint with three coats that get wider every pass. Between coats we sand, and before primer we hold a light flat to the wall to find anything we missed. The goal is a wall where the paint shows its color and nothing else.
We cover all of Minooka, which sits across Grundy, Kendall and Will counties, and we reach it off I-80 and along Route 6, Ridge Road and McLindon Road. Not every call is for new board. If your Minooka house has seams that show as ridges, tape peeling at a corner, or screw heads you can see in the hallway light, those are signs of a rushed finish. We cut out the loose tape, re-bed it, feather the joint out wide enough that it disappears, then prime and paint the wall so the fix does not stand out.

Fresh drywall in remodels, basements and new walls taped and finished to paint.
Bubbled or peeling tape sliced away, re-bedded in fresh compound and coated over.
Joints that crown or show a ridge feathered out wide so the hump goes away.
Screws that read through the paint driven down, spotted and finished.
Dented or cracked outside corners stripped, rebeaded and coated straight.
Redone walls primed and painted so the finished area matches the rest of the room.
We come out, look at the board or the seams that bother you, and leave a free written estimate that says what gets redone and how. Once we start pulling bad tape, the wall sometimes shows more trouble underneath, like a sheet that was never fastened, and we stop, price that in writing and wait for your yes. Coats need time to dry, so the work runs over several visits that we book around the days we said. At the end we walk each wall with you and a work light.
