Call or text (815) 585-1750 24/7 when sewage comes up in your Mokena basement, and we protect your belongings, clear out the damage and rebuild the space.
Sewage backup cleanup has a clear rule: porous materials it touched come out, and hard surfaces get cleaned and treated. In practice, that means the carpet, pad, insulation and the lower part of the drywall leave the house. Concrete, framing and tile are scrubbed and treated with antimicrobial, and then air movers and dehumidifiers dry the space while we take readings every day. When it reads dry, we rebuild it.
Mokena is on our regular route, off I-80 and Route 30, with LaGrange Road, Wolf Road and 191st Street running through town. If your finished basement holds a sectional, a guest bed or a home gym, the contents are the first job. We move what is dry to another part of the house and protect it, and we photograph anything the backup soaked before it leaves, so you have a record for your claim. Then the carpet, pad and drywall bottoms come out and the cleaning starts.

Furniture, boxes and equipment are moved to a dry part of the house and covered.
Anything the backup ruined is photographed for your claim before it leaves.
We pull the standing water up once the room is cleared.
Carpet, pad, insulation and the wet lower section of drywall are removed.
Hard surfaces get antimicrobial, and HEPA air scrubbers run while we work.
We put back walls, floors and trim so your furniture has somewhere to go back to.
We write a free estimate before the work starts, with the contents work, the cleanup and the rebuild each on their own lines. The daily rate for every drying machine is in writing before setup. If we find more damage, the extra work gets a written price and only happens after you approve it. The rebuild is booked once the readings show dry, and we finish with a walkthrough together.
