An open basement ceiling of joists, pipes and ductwork gets one even sprayed color, so the space looks finished and every pipe stays reachable for service. We cover Western Springs.
Basements are one of the best places to use a sprayer, because so much of the surface is out of a roller's reach. An open ceiling of joists, subfloor, pipes, wires and ductwork can only be coated evenly by spray. We cover the floor, the walls if they are staying as they are, the furnace, water heater, panel and anything else that must stay unpainted. Then the ceiling gets sprayed in the color you picked, and block or poured walls can follow.
Western Springs is on our regular route off I-294, along Ogden Avenue, Wolf Road and 55th Street near the Metra station, in Cook County beside Hinsdale and La Grange. If your basement has bare block or poured walls, we check them for dampness before any paint goes on, since paint over a wall that wicks water will peel. Mechanical labels, shutoff valves and the electrical panel cover stay clean so they can still be read and reached. A sprayed basement takes more masking than any other room in the house, and the estimate shows that plainly.

Joists, subfloor, pipes, wires and ductwork are sprayed together in the color you choose.
The furnace, water heater, panel, valves and labels are covered so they stay readable and clean.
The slab or finished floor is covered wall to wall before the sprayer comes out.
Block and poured walls are tested for dampness first, because paint will not hold on a wet wall.
Block walls get paint pushed into the pores with a roller behind the sprayer.
We keep fresh air moving while we spray and while the coats dry.
We walk the basement with you, check the walls for moisture, and leave a free written estimate that lists the ceiling, the walls, the masking, the product and the coats. If a wall shows a water problem, we tell you before painting, because that needs fixing first, and any added work is approved by you in writing. We book around the days we said. Once the masking comes off, we walk the basement with you and check that every valve and label is clear.
Send a photo of your basement ceiling to (815) 585-1750. We will check the space in person and write up the full scope.
