Call or text (815) 585-1750 24/7 when you find mold in your Palos Park home, and we handle it from containment to the finished rebuild. We also find the water behind it, so the new wall stays dry.
We treat every mold job as two problems: the growth and the water that fed it. The growth is handled under containment with negative air and HEPA air scrubbing, and the affected drywall, insulation, carpet or trim is removed and bagged. What stays is cleaned and treated with antimicrobial, and anything still wet is dried and read until it shows dry. Then we deal with the water and rebuild.
Palos Park is on our regular route in Cook County, along Route 45, 123rd Street and McCarthy Road, with the Palos and Sag Valley forest preserves around it. On a wooded lot, gutters fill with leaves and twigs, and an overflowing gutter can drop a season of rain right against the foundation. If that is where your basement mold started, removing it is only half the job. We repair damaged gutters and trim, and we show you where the water was landing so it gets sent away from the house before the basement is rebuilt.

The basement or room is sectioned off with plastic sheeting and a sealed entry before removal starts.
A negative air machine draws air from the work area and sends it outdoors.
HEPA scrubbers filter the air throughout the removal and cleaning.
Drywall, insulation, carpet and pad with growth on them are cut out, bagged and hauled off.
Remaining surfaces are cleaned and treated with antimicrobial, and wet framing is dried with dehumidifiers until readings show dry.
Damaged gutters or trim are repaired, then the basement or room is rebuilt with new insulation, drywall, base and paint.
We walk the area, check outside where the water may be coming in and give you a written estimate before we start. The estimate is itemized, and any daily equipment rates are in writing before the equipment is set. If the wall shows more than we expected, that work is priced in writing and waits for your OK. Once clearance is confirmed by an independent tester, which we recommend, we rebuild on the dates we set and walk it with you.
Call or text (815) 585-1750 whenever you find it. We will explain where we think the water is coming from and what the job looks like.
