Keep dinner on the table while your Clarendon Hills kitchen is rebuilt, with the work staged so the days without a sink and stove are as few as the job allows.
Before we talk cabinets, we talk about how long you can live without a working kitchen, because that decides how the job is staged. We set up a temporary spot for the fridge and microwave, usually in a dining room or garage, and keep the sink in service as long as the sequence allows. Demo, framing, rough-in, drywall, cabinets, tile, flooring, trim and paint all sit on one estimate and one crew's calendar. You also hear up front which days will be loud, so nobody plans a work call over the tile saw.
We cover Clarendon Hills every week, reaching it on Ogden Avenue, Route 83 and 55th Street. It is a DuPage County village with its Metra station in the middle of town and Hinsdale and Westmont on either side. If your house has a basement under the kitchen, moving a sink or adding a dishwasher usually means running new lines up through the floor framing from below. That keeps the floors in the surrounding rooms intact, and it is one of the first things we check on the estimate visit.

We move the fridge and microwave to a spot you choose and make sure there is power for them so you can keep making meals.
The sink and dishwasher stay hooked up as long as the sequence allows and go back in as soon as the counters are set.
Where there is a basement under the kitchen, new supply, drain and electrical lines run up through the floor framing.
Bases are set level, uppers are hung on studs or blocking, and every door and drawer is adjusted before we leave.
Where the old cabinets leave a gap in the flooring, we patch it or run new flooring through the room.
Walls and trim are painted, the dust barriers come down and the room is cleaned before the walkthrough.
The first visit is a free measure and a conversation about scope, and the estimate that follows is written phase by phase. You approve it before anything is ordered or torn out. If a wall hides something that changes the work, we stop, price the fix in writing and continue only once you sign off. You get a schedule with the no-sink days and the loud days marked, and we close the job with a walkthrough of every cabinet, outlet and fixture.
