Bathrooms and kitchens are harder on paint than any other room, and they need different prep than a bedroom. We scrape any peeling paint back to a sound edge, wash off grease and soap film, fill and sand the damage and spot prime before color. Caulk where the backsplash and the trim meet the wall gets cut out and replaced where it has cracked or gone dark. Then the walls get a moisture-resistant finish in a sheen that wipes clean, and the rest of the house gets the prep and coats written in the estimate.
