Keep road salt from eating your Orland Park garage slab with a flake floor that seals it under a polyaspartic top coat.
What we install is a polyaspartic flake floor, put down by our MK Concrete Coatings crew as part of ONIT Solutions. The concrete gets a diamond grind, never an acid etch, and cracks and pits are repaired so the floor starts sound. Next comes a moisture vapor barrier epoxy base, which is the step one-day installers skip, with flake broadcast into it wet to full refusal. We scrape it and seal it with a polyaspartic top coat made to handle hot tires, salt and UV.
Orland Park is on our regular route, by I-80, LaGrange Road, 159th Street and Wolf Road. It is a Cook County village with Mokena, Homer Glen and Palos Park around it, and those main roads stay wet with brine from the first snow to the last. Every time the car comes in, that brine drips onto the slab and dries in, and over a few winters bare concrete starts to flake and pit at the surface. A sealed floor keeps the salt on top, where a squeegee or a hose pushes it out the door.

The slab is ground to open, clean concrete that the base can bond to.
Salt pitting, cracks and chipped spots are filled and leveled.
Epoxy blocks moisture from below, so the floor does not lift.
Flake goes into the wet base to full refusal, then the crew scrapes it.
A polyaspartic top coat seals out salt and brine and resists hot tires and UV.
You get a 10-year workmanship warranty in writing when we finish.
Our free on-site estimate covers measuring, a look at the slab and a set of cured flake samples to choose from. You get a written price at $8.50 per square foot, with a $2,000 minimum. Repairs the grind uncovers beyond the plan get priced in writing, and nothing extra happens until you approve. Because cars stay out for 72 hours, we set the install days with you ahead of time and book around the days we said.
