We time your repaint to the weather, so every coat cures the way it should. La Grange is on our regular route from spring through fall.
La Grange is on our regular route for exterior painting, covering siding, trim, soffit and fascia, doors, garage doors, shutters, porches and railings. We start with a wash, then scrape loose paint, sand the edges and prime bare wood. Rotted trim and siding boards are replaced with new wood. Caulk is renewed at each open joint before the finish coats.
We reach La Grange on I-294 and Ogden Avenue, then up La Grange Road and 47th Street, and we cover the whole village in Cook County, downtown La Grange and the Metra station included. Weather sets the calendar for outside paint. Paint needs dry wood and temperatures above 50 degrees, and in fall it also needs nights warm enough for the coat to cure. We watch the forecast, stop exterior work when the nights turn cold, and book late-season jobs early so they finish before the weather closes in.

Each coat goes on when the wood is dry and the forecast gives it time to cure.
Dirt, chalk and mildew come off before prep so primer bonds to the surface.
Peeling paint comes off, edges are sanded smooth, and bare wood is primed.
Soft fascia, trim and siding boards get replaced, primed and caulked.
Garage doors, front doors and storm door frames are cleaned, sanded and coated.
Plants, walks and the driveway stay covered while we work, and the site is cleaned daily.
The free estimate is in writing and lists each surface, the prep, the product and the coats. We set dates around the forecast and tell you ahead of time if rain or cold will move a day. Repairs found during prep get a written price and wait for your approval. When the last coat has cured, we walk the house with you and touch up what you point out.
