Keep the sump running and the rest of the house in working order. We cover Channahon and take the whole repair list in one trip.
Home repairs, for us, are the jobs that pile up between remodels: the dripping faucet, the cracked grout, the bathroom door that swings open by itself, the trim the dog chewed. You hand us the list, and our crew works through it in order. Short lists can often be priced from photos you text us. Long ones get a visit and an itemized estimate in writing, and nothing found along the way gets fixed until you have seen the price.
Channahon is off I-55 and I-80 for us, and Route 6 runs us right into town. The Des Plaines and DuPage rivers meet here, with Channahon State Park and the I&M Canal along the water. In a town shaped by two rivers, the sump pit deserves attention before the spring thaw and the summer storms. We test the pump, replace it if it is failing, and add a battery backup so a power outage during a storm does not leave the basement unprotected.

We pull the old pump, set a new one with a check valve, and run it with water before we leave.
A backup pump and battery go in beside the primary so the pit keeps working when the power drops.
If a basement bathroom drains to an ejector pit, we replace the pump and reseal the lid.
Old caulk at tubs, showers and sinks gets cut out, and cracked grout lines get ground out and refilled.
Doors that swing on their own, rub the jamb or miss the latch get adjusted or rehung.
Gouges, dents and holes get patched and primed, and chewed or split trim gets replaced.
Start by texting photos or calling. If the list is short we may price it from the pictures, and if it is long we come out for a free look and leave a written estimate with each repair priced separately. You pick which items to do. Anything that turns up behind a wall or under a floor gets priced in writing before we go further, and at the end we go through every item with you.
Text photos of the list to (815) 585-1750, or call and walk us through it. A sump pump that is not running goes to the top.
