A Rolling Meadows floor laid on concrete the right way: moisture tested, leveled and finished so it stays flat and dry.
We install luxury vinyl plank and tile, laminate, engineered hardwood, and tile in baths, entries and laundry rooms. Concrete gets a moisture test before anything else, because a floating floor over a damp slab fails from below. Wood subfloors get checked against the maker's flatness spec, and we level, patch or sand until they pass. We move the furniture and appliances, hook back up what we disconnected, and finish with base, shoe and transitions.
Rolling Meadows is on our regular route, and Route 53 brings us in, with Golf Road, Kirchoff Road and Algonquin Road covering the rest. It is a Cook County city bordered by Arlington Heights, Palatine and Schaumburg. If your house sits on a slab with no basement under the main floor, that slab is your subfloor, and it may carry old adhesive, cracks and low spots left by earlier floors. We scrape or grind off what will not hold, fill the cracks, and level the concrete before the new floor goes down.

Glue and backing left from earlier floors get scraped or ground off so the new floor sits on clean concrete.
We fill slab cracks and check them for movement before covering them.
A reading on the slab tells us whether it needs a vapor barrier and which products it can carry.
Self-leveler or patch fills the low areas, and high ridges get ground down.
Luxury vinyl, tile and some engineered wood can go on concrete, and we tell you which suits your reading.
Base and shoe are reset or replaced, and transitions meet the entry and any carpeted rooms.
The free estimate includes a look at the concrete and a moisture reading if we can get to bare slab. Your written scope lists the adhesive removal, crack repair, leveling and product, so each step is on paper. If the old floor comes up and the slab needs more than we planned, you get a written price for the extra and decide before we do it. We keep to the days on the schedule and walk the floor with you at the end.
